The 11th annual Brockton Public Schools Backpack Giveaway will take place on Friday, July 31, from 1-5 p.m. (while supplies last). The giveaway will take place in front of the Fine Arts Building at Brockton High School, 470 Forest Ave.
Backpacks and essential school supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Brockton Public Schools students. Students must be present at the event in order to receive a backpack, and families must arrive in a vehicle. No walk-ups are allowed.
Families should enter via the Forest Avenue entrance to the BHS campus and drive to the rear of the parking lot, where they will be directed into line. Parent should note that school supplies will be distributed along with backpacks, and those supplies may include scissors. Parents should check the backpack prior to providing it to their child.
